What is Project K.I.T.T.?

Project K.I.T.T. is an independent film project by producer and director Denny Schönemann. It centres on the project vehicle K.I.T.T. and his return in a newly told screen story.

What happened in 2015?

After the original film had been almost completely shot, the project was put on hold in 2015. Today's revival is not simply a continuation: a complete new shoot is planned for 2027.

Who is working on the rebuild of K.I.T.T.?

JOLO GmbH – Die Autolackierer is responsible for paintwork and finish. Björn Börner and Route 66 Borrmann Motors Rendsburg are handling repairs, technical restoration and the rebuild.

When will the new film be made?

The complete new shoot is planned for 2027. Until then, the vehicle build, production preparation and the step-by-step revival of the film project will continue.
